Measures to Improve Competitiveness in Financing, Investment, and Employment
- Adjustment of withholding tax with the annual tax

- Reduction of the scope of application of criminal penalties
- Possibility of paying the travel tax on a calendar year basis
Social Procedures
- Exemption from the 1.5% withholding tax for individuals earning agricultural or fishing income as per Article 23 of the Personal Income Tax and Corporate Tax Code
- Reduction of the VAT rate on low-voltage electricity for domestic consumption and on low and medium voltage used for agricultural irrigation pumping equipment from 18% to 12%, as well as on petroleum products
- Exemption from customs and consumption duties for products aimed at smoking cessation, with VAT applied at a rate of 12%
- Exemptions from registration fees for loan contracts granted by the BTS
Miscellaneous Provisions
- Reduction of the age of vehicles eligible for tax benefits for Tunisians residing abroad from 7 years to 5 years when implementing or participating in a project
- Creation of a restructuring and modernization fund for the banking sector
- Adaptation of tax rights and procedures to align with administrative penalty procedures by subjecting them to the contentious procedures followed in official tax assessments
- Imposition of a 1% tax for the state treasury on any cash payment by public accountants exceeding 10,000 dinars
- Update of the stamp duty on currency export declarations to 10 DT instead of 3 DT
- Publication of mandatory information by customs
